The problem
Most note tools make capture easy and retrieval feel like filing paperwork. I wanted a system that could remember the context around a note without asking me to maintain another taxonomy.

The product rule
Capture should take one keystroke. Retrieval is the whole product. Every interaction is evaluated against those two constraints, which keeps the interface quiet and prevents the system from becoming a second job.

Current direction
MemoHat is still a working prototype. I am exploring lightweight context, useful resurfacing, and the moments when an assistant should stay silent instead of generating another summary.
